It’s this reporter’s view that those two elderly women that featured in the news a couple of weeks ago are up to their old tricks again. If you remember they got stopped at Munich airport when they passed through security with a human skull and several bones in their carry-on luggage.
There was a completely plausible excuse, of course – they were taking the bones of the dead brother of one of the women from Brazil to Italy for burial.
So of course when I read the headline Dinosaur Fossil Found On Bus In Peru I was immediately sceptical. How do we know that the women haven’t set up an agency for this sort of thing? Trafficking bones from country to country. If you look below, you’ll see that the fossil looks just like a thigh and shin. In fact, it seems like the ‘leg’ has still got its strides on. Levi’s original, I’d say at a guess.
Now who in the world would have a leg that big? M-mm. Probably a distant relation to the world’s tallest man, I reckon.
